We just took our first small family vacation this past weekend to Chicago. We went up Friday afternoon and checked into our hotel which had a waterpark inside. We spent the rest of the day at the waterpark and just hanging out. On Saturday we headed to the Brookfield zoo!!! I haven't been there since I was a kid so was quite excited to go and we all had a great time!! It was a HOT day, around 90 degrees, but we survived!!

They had a dinosaur exhibit for the summer which Addisyn was so excited to see but once she got there she got scared (the dinosaurs moved and made noises)...soon after leaving though she wanted to go see them again and it was the highlight she most talks about seeing!
