A few months back I came across a great deal on another savings website for a room in downtown Chicago at over half off! Jim and I both thought that would be a fun place to go this year for our anniversary so I jumped on the deal! We spent 2 days and 1 night away while my parents spoiled Keira and Jim's parents spoiled Addisyn!
Our hotel was just a block from Michigan St and all the shopping so we walked around the shops and went up in the John Hancock building. Here was the view up at the top! 
Jim thought he would try his hand at window washing!
At the bottom of the John Hancock building is the Cheesecake Factory so we decided to eat there for our anniversary dinner! Boy did they have a HUGE menu and a wide variety of things to choose from....GREAT food! For dessert we of course had to try one of the cheesecakes...there was 2 pages of different kinds to choose from! We tried the snickers.
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency downtown Chicago right on the river! This is the view from our room...the hotel is right on the river! At the top of the picture you can see Lake Michigan and to the left you can even see Navy Pier! Not bad for $99 huh? =)
Saturday we visited the museum of science and industry! This is Jim in front of the submarine.
