The following are several pictures from our activities in the last week. Jim and I got away last Thurs and Fri for our 6 yr anniversary and spent the days in Shipshewana enjoying the shops, flea market, and some quiet time (the best part was our QUIET dinner out) =) Friday night we watched the fireworks from my Grandma's porch on Winona lake. Saturday we went and visited some of Jim's family and friends. Sunday we relaxed and took in a walk on another one of the trails here in Warsaw. This week the fair is in town so we have been enjoying all that goes along with that. The girls loved ALL the animals (sheep, goats, cows, horses, bunnies, pigs, etc) and we took in a Silly Safari show where Addisyn got called up on stage and actually touched a tarantula (unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me). This evening we took Jim with us and ate dinner, rode some rides (or toys as Addisyn kept referring to them as) and watched a Tiger show! As of today I am now watching our friends daughter Riley for the remainder of the summer 3 days a week so we will be keeping even busier with her around!
Girls playing with some sparklers
Watching Daddy set off our small fireworks...nothing went off the ground more than a few feet but it doesn't take much to impress a toddler!
Look who has finally made it into the pool this summer! I remembered that the first summer we had the pool at Jim's parents Addisyn couldn't quite reach the bottom so we put in a stool for her to stand on. We did the same for Keira and she loves it!
Addisyn on her lobster...it takes up half the pool! =)
The girls petting a bunny at the fair
This poor baby chick...it's screaming "help me, help me" as Keira squeezes it, the girls doesn't realize her own strength
