Our MOPS group planned a zoo outing for today so we packed up the truck and headed there for the morning. They were calling for rain storms in the afternoon and evening. Well lets just say that as I sit here and type this it's about 3:00 in the afternoon and the skies are blue and sunny...yet this morning we were caught in the rain at the zoo!!! Oh well, we managed to see the animals during breaks in the rain and they had plenty of shelter for us to duck under during the rain. Luckily someone had a couple of ponchos with them and I was able to cover the stroller with one to keep Keira from getting soaked!!! We all had a good time and stayed pretty dry for the most part!! We had a great turnout in our group with most of the kids being around the same age and enjoyed being together!
