Elf on the shelf

Last year we bought the Elf on the Shelf and had fun with her.  This year I wanted to be a little more creative with her and was able to find some really fun ideas online.  The story is that she comes on Thanksgiving night to keep an eye on the kids until Christmas Eve.  Each night she flies back to the North Pole and gives a report to Santa on whether the kids are being naughty or nice.  Each morning when she comes back she hides in a new place and you have to find her.  We sure have a lot of fun with her.

This year she arrived in style in Barbie's car

One morning she was caught playing tic tac toe on toilet paper with the snowman

She put bows on the bathroom mirror...the girls thought this was how she was able to get up in her position on the sign

She was ziplining from the fan

She must have been caught sneaking back into the house on this night by the army soldiers

Uh oh...someone is going to have a tummy ache

She was having fun building snowman with marshmallows and pretzels

11 days till Christmas!

She tried to decorate the Christmas tree with toilet paper

Then finally she decorated Jim's car to look like a reindeer!  My Mom bet Jim $20 that he wouldn't drive to work (an hour each direction I may add) with his car looking like this!  It's amazing what a man will do for money as he won the bet!!  Even I was surprised he kept it on!! =)
