Pokagon State Park

Wednesday thru Friday of this week we headed up to Pokagon State Park with my family. We spent the 3 days relaxing, taking in nature, enjoying the beach and of course shopping at the outlet stores down the road!! It was a nice time away from our normal routine...but when you have little ones they sure crave that routine so it's always nice to get back home and back to the normal nap schedules!!! Here are some pictures from our trip!

We took a sunset boat ride around the lake and Addisyn got to help the boat driver

Not sure who all these crazy people were at the back of our boat!!! =)

Keira and Mommy

The nature center had a critter program where you got to see them feed several animals like snakes and turtles. I was actually surprised that Addisyn didn't mind watching the snakes eat some mice!!

Keira wanted to get on the floor and crawl around with the turtle!

Us girls together....Daddy was spending the day with Grandpa at the Auburn Car show and auction.

This picture goes along with my favorite poem about the Footprints in the sand
