For the past 2 weeks the girls have been taking swim lessons at the high school in town. I decided to try someplace new this summer to switch things up. I was pretty happy with how it was run. The girls both did really well and were pushed to the best of their abilities. Addisyn had been put in a class where they were expected to be able to swim on their own. I knew she was close but knew if she was made to swim without help she would show herself she could do it! Keira has always been our little fish and was always the first in her class to volunteer to do the next thing and show the teacher all she could do!
The girls waiting for their class to begin
The very first day at the end of class they went to the diving boards! Keira tried to act a little scared but it didn't take her long to jump off!
Day one Addisyn didn't want to go on the diving board even though her sister did. After class I talked to her and she said she would try the next day. Thankfully she did and really looked forward to that part of class the rest of swim lessons!

After 2 weeks of swim lessons we were invited to a friends pool to swim. You can tell just how much the girls have come with their lessons! Here you see both of my girls swimming in the middle of the pool with their heads under water and NO floatation devices!! So proud at how far they have come!
