After working 24 days straight at work Jim needed a day off and some time away with our family! We had planned a trip to Lake Michigan at the beginning of summer that we thought we would have to postpone with him working so much but were able to squeeze it in! We left Thursday for New Buffalo, MI and spent time there through Saturday. We spent most of our time at the beach and had a great time...the weather was beautiful! Thursday there were no waves and the girls fell in love with the beach...Friday it was breezy and made waves and the girls were not a fan which surprised me! Saturday we stopped in Michigan City and visited some shops at the Lighthouse Place outlets before heading back home.
