Labor day weekend

With Jim working so much lately we still had a few things on our list that we wanted to do before the summer was over. So we packed up and headed to Indianapolis for a couple of days. We didn't tell the girls where we were going so they were excited. We first headed to the Childrens Museum since our zoo passes would get us in free during this month then went to our hotel. I found a hotel at Union Station that had regular rooms but then had a few halls with train cars that were rooms!!! It was awesome and the girls LOVED it! The next day we went to the zoo.

At the Childrens Museum

They still have the Barbie exhibit we had seen last year which is a HUGE hit with the girls! Here Keira is strutting down the catwalk! =)

Addisyn preferred to design the outfits

The market place in Egypt

One of the girls favorites...the playscape

Don't remember where this was in the museum but it was too cute to not post! =)

Downtown Indy...we walked to the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner

Here is the hallway where our train room was

More pics inside the hotel

Our room inside the train car

Enjoying the pool....Keira learned to jump off the side all by herself!! She is 3 1/2 yrs old yet this took Addisyn until she was 5 1/2 to do!! =)

At the zoo...touching the sharks although they never came close enough to the girls for them to touch but Jim and I could with our longer arms.

Watching the walrus

Dolphin show is always a hit

And we ALL got to go on the roller coaster this year as Keira was just tall enough...and she loved it! =)

The girls by the elephants. We saw SO many animals we don't get to see very often so this made for a fun trip! We saw cheetahs, bears, a porcupine, a polar bear, elephants, dolphins and much much more!
